
I'm Jon Adams, currently a Ph.D. Student in Information Systems at Nova Southeastern University.
My research interests are currently centered on Cloud Computing, particularly issues involving security, privacy, and the migration of legacy software to the cloud and the issues and considerations that go along with it.Additional research interests Collaboration Enhancing Technologies, Data Protection and Privacy, Access Control, Social Computing and it's implications.
I received my MS degree in Computer Science from Howard University in 2002. My BS is in Computer Information Science, Benedict College in 2001. I am currently taking a semester off and studying at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, otherwise known as Virginia Tech. I have also taken various graduate coursework at George Mason University (SEOR) and UNC Charlotte (IT/Security).
In addition to my academic background, I have worked 10+ years in industry and government for companies such as NCR, SAIC, NJVC, and others. I hold both the CISSP and Security+ certification.
